✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
I can not guarantee that the movements provided in this course will change the position of the baby. They can only try to facilitate an optimal position. Please always speak with your doctor if you are concerned about the position of your baby.
-
You can always ask me questions, but I can not provide advice specific for you and your unborn child. By purchasing this course, you are acknowledging that we do not have a patient-to-therapist relationship. This is just health and wellness education to hopefully help you with your birth outcomes.
-
This course does have some special considerations for if you do end up having a c-section, including a video on c-section scar tissue mobility, but the course is more for someone who is preparing for a vaginal birth. You would still get benefit out of the hip and ribcage mobility work, the immediate postpartum tips, and the anatomy education.
-
You will always hear me say listen to what your doctor tells you, especially since they know specifically what is going on with your body. With that said, some of the tools provided in this course are a way for you to start a discussion with your provider in order to come up with a better plan as a team.

If it were me going through pregnancy, I would probably watch this course one time through (it’s short!) before I was 36 weeks, and then start watching it again at 36 weeks to reference the videos that I need reminders on and to also do the mobility routines daily.

Honestly, I don’t know because I haven’t taken them. What I can say is that I had to gather up all the information I needed to prepare for labor all by myself (plus the help of my doula and guides at work), and this course is a culmination of that. It’s everything I provide my patients when they are gearing up for delivery, and it’s done as a side hobby for me, so there isn’t professional equipment or fancy editing. This means that it’s a better price point compared to some of the other courses out there. I use my knowledge from treating orthopedics, pelvic health, and my previous knowledge as a meditation and yoga instructor to help you out. It’s truly just a way to share information with people who aren’t getting it from their doctors in hopes to make the birthing process a little less scary, and my goal is to make sure it’s not crazy expensive so it’s accessible to you, unlike some of the other courses out there.
